Manual steps to uninstall CTS

The following steps are required to perform a manual uninstall of a Content
Transformation Services product
1. Stop the CTS and CTS Agent Services in the Windows Services dialog.
2. Use Windows Add/Remove Programs to uninstall Documentum Content
Transformation Services.
3. Use Windows Add/Remove Programs to uninstall Documentum DFC.
4. Restart the host.
5. Delete the following folders and all their contents:
• C:\Documentum
• C:\Program Files\Documentum
6. Remove any remaining Documentum products using Windows Add/Remove
Programs.
7. Open Windows regedit.
8. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE.
9. Delete the Documentum entry.
10. Reboot the host.
11. Log in to the CTS configured repository as an administrator user using DAM,
Webtop, or DA.
12. Delete the Media Server folder, located in the \System cabinet (select all children
and all versions when prompted during delete).
13. Navigate to \System\Applications.
14. Delete the CTSTransformRequest and MediaProfile folder (select All Objects, All
Versions, All Descendants when prompted).
15. Run the following two DQL statements against the repository, in this order:
a. delete cts_instance_info object

You can now start a new installation of any Content Transformation Services product
(such as DTS or MTS).
